A Peace Treaty Kokna Necklace

$200 @ opensky.com

And now for some Boho beauty...

This necklace is fantastic! It's sold out everywhere except for at OpenSky (they only have 3 left in stock) and it's easy to see why. Such a unique piece, the Kokna necklace is so full of interest and will go with tons of things in your closet.

Made from sustainably collected discarded camel bone (hey they recycle!) the necklace gives an antique earthy vibe to your look and will have people asking where you got it. Enter blatantly fabricated story of you roaming the desert during your last stint with the peace corps...kidding!!

But in all seriousness, A Peace Treaty (the company that makes this necklace), was started by a "personal pact between Farah Malik, a Pakistani Muslim, and Dana Arbib, a Libyan Jew...to create employment for skilled artisans working in areas of socio-political strife, effectively supporting their craft. In addition to supporting the craftspeople in these selected locations, A Peace Treaty also donates to Counterpart International."

So do some good...

Accessorize and empower others at the same time!

Baccarat Pampilles Silver Long Necklace

Hot hot hot!!!

Continuing with the bold looks of late, this stunning necklace by Baccarat was inspired by exquisite Baroque mirrors. It is entirely made of ‘mordore’ clear full-lead crystal, rhodium-plated sterling silver and is truly a standout piece.

Again...not for the faint hearted!

Kate Spade Cherie Coat

$695 @ katespade.com

Snapdragon!

Such an irresistibly whimsical name for the color of this irresistibly whimsical coat.

I'm picturing this paired with the Coralia Leets druzy earrings I posted previously and some major mascara. Anyhow, I'm digging the mod look here.

So sick of boring cold weather coats...punch it up people!

Coralia Leets Black Druzy Earrings

$325 @ lovemyswag.com

I am in love with these!! It's like a meteorite made out of pop rocks fell to earth and formed perfectly imperfect jewelry!

Turns out a druzy (also spelled drusy) is a layer of tiny crystals that form within a mineral crust -- think the inner cavity of a geode.

Glamorous and elegantly organic, these earrings instantly upgrade your look and remind everyone of the goddess that you undoubtedly are.

Wear with confidence!

P.S. To those who seek to save (who doesn't?) you can actually rent these online (yes that's right) in a stunning sapphire color from
Rent the Runway for $55. Sadly, you don't get to keep them for that price. Boo-hoo!

Limited Edition Zaha Hadid Sneaker

Here’s a modern twist on the simple sneaker (good for city walking of course!) created by way of a collaboration between famed architectural icon Zaha Hadid (she’s the one that designed the Chanel Mobile ArtTour in Central Park a few years ago) and Lacoste. This design was limited to 850 pairs and is very rare. Ultra modern and minimalist, the pair is beautifully engineered to wrap your foot in sleek curves.

I know they’re a splurge, but you are paying for a piece of thoughtfully engineered architecture -- for your feet! Who else can say that?! :)

Ecco Jaffna Boot

$169.95 @ nordstrom.com

Friends!

It’s been a while!! Turns out that my busy couple of weeks turned into a busy couple of months --

I recently moved to NYC and have been settling in…but of course I haven’t forgotten you ;)

City living is all about walking (seriously -- lots and lots of walking) and with the crisp breeze in the air, all I can think about are a pair of chic and comfy boots that can go all day long. I recently purchased these sable colored beauties and cannot get over how amazingly comfortable they are! I think you’ll join me in recognizing that (aside from their wickedly comfortable feel) their simplicity is what makes them so damn appealing. They look gorgeous with jeans and I think I’m going to run out and buy these in black as well since they go with just about everything.

Perambulators rejoice!
